Terms of use
Draft. This wording has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and may change before launch.
Version 1.0 (beta) · Last updated: 2026-10-15 · The Hebrew text is the original. If the two differ, the Hebrew text governs.
1. Who we are and what Lumaylo is
Lumaylo (the "Service") is a Hebrew learning and play app for children aged 7 to 11: English, maths, short knowledge lessons, music, a guide character and a calm corner. The Service is at lumaylo.com/app and the marketing website at lumaylo.com.
The Service is operated by NatureTech Hydroponics Ltd, 23 HaBanaim St, Ashdod, Israel, phone +972-53-431-9375 (the "Company", "we"). Support: [email protected]. Privacy: [email protected].
2. Free beta
- The Service is currently offered as a beta, free of charge, to families in Israel only. There are no payments, subscriptions or purchases, and no way to pay.
- A beta is still being developed: expect faults, changes, features added or removed, and interruptions. Thank you in advance for your patience and feedback.
- We may change the Service, limit the number of families or end the beta. If we end the Service, we will give at least 30 days' notice and let you download your data.
- If the Service becomes paid in the future, nobody will be charged without express prior consent. Payment terms, price and cancellation rights under the Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, will be shown before any purchase. Using the beta does not commit you to a paid service.
3. Who may use it
- The account is opened and managed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over who lives in Israel (the "Parent"). The Parent accepts these terms for themselves and for the children they create profiles for, and confirms they act with the agreement of the other parent or guardian, if there is one (section 18 of the Legal Capacity and Guardianship Law, 5722-1962).
- Children use the Service under the Parent's supervision and with the Parent's consent. A child is not asked to, and cannot, accept these terms.
- The Parent keeps the password and the parent PIN to themselves and decides which features to turn on for each child. The Parent may invite family members and is responsible for whom they invite.
4. AI: what you should know
- Some features (the guide character, voice chat, read-aloud, the studio's magic) use AI and work only if the Parent turned them on. Details in the privacy policy and the parental consent text.
- The guide is software, not a person, and says so. It can make mistakes. It does not replace a parent, teacher, doctor or mental-health professional.
- There are filters for unsuitable content and a procedure for worrying content, but no filter is perfect. If you see an unsuitable answer, write to [email protected] and we will look into it.
- Lumaylo is not an emergency service. In immediate danger: police 100, Magen David Adom 101, ERAN 1201.
5. Fair use
Not allowed: trying to break into the Service or bypass its limits; using it to harm others; deliberately making the guide produce harmful content; copying the Service or selling access to it; opening an account in someone else's name. We may suspend an account that breaks these rules, after contacting the Parent (unless there is immediate danger).
6. Creations and content
- What the child creates belongs to them and the family (drawings, the house, studio creations). You give us a limited permission to store and process it only to provide the Service, and only under the privacy policy. We do not publish children's creations or use them in marketing.
- Content the AI makes for the child is for personal and family use.
- The Service itself (code, characters, lessons, design, voices, the name and mark "Lumaylo") belongs to the Company or its licensors.
- In-game coins and items are virtual: they cannot be bought with money and have no monetary value. There are no purchases on the child's side.
7. Availability and changes
We work to keep the Service available, but faults, interruptions and data loss can happen (especially in a beta). We recommend downloading the family's data from the parent area from time to time. We may change or discontinue features.
8. Liability
- The Service is provided as is and as a free beta, without any promise that it suits every need, is uninterrupted or error-free, or that educational content or AI answers are always accurate.
- To the extent the law allows, and given that this is a beta provided free of charge, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential damage that could not have been foreseen.
- These limits do not apply to damage caused by the Company's wilful misconduct or gross negligence, to bodily injury, or to any right the law gives a consumer that cannot be waived, including rights under the Protection of Privacy Law.
- The Parent is responsible for supervising the child while using the Service and for their screen time.
9. Ending
You may stop using the Service and delete all data at any time from the parent area. We may end access for a serious breach of these terms, after notice (unless there is danger). After ending, data is deleted under the privacy policy.
10. Messages and marketing
We send service messages the Service needs (sign-in code, password reset, invitation, notice of a material change). We send marketing messages only if you agreed in advance and separately; every such message is labelled "פרסומת" (advertisement) and has a simple unsubscribe link (section 30A of the Communications (Telecommunications and Broadcasting) Law, 5742-1982).
11. Changes to these terms
For a material change we give advance notice of at least 14 days in the app and by email. If you disagree, you may stop using the Service and delete the data at no cost.
12. Law and jurisdiction
These terms and the Service are governed by Israeli law. You may sue us in the competent courts of Tel Aviv-Jaffa, and in any other court that has jurisdiction under law, including the court of the area where you live and the small-claims court. Nothing in these terms limits your right to go to court.
13. Accessibility and privacy
Our accessibility statement is on the "Accessibility statement" page. The privacy policy, the parental consent text and the cookie notice form part of these terms.
