A Hebrew-first learning world · for children aged 7 to 11
A magical world of sky islands, where children learn without pressure.
English, maths, science, music and creativity, with a guide the children choose and name themselves. Parents see and control everything.
- No ads
- No streaks that break
- Parents see everything
Today it is a private prototype that one family uses every day. The waitlist is open to parents.
Tap the character. Every child builds their own.
On the island now: A painted girl with braids and a yellow flowered dress
Every island is a small world
Practice adjusts to what the children just did, so most questions stay within reach. At any moment they can ask for "a bit easier" or "a bit harder", and neither choice costs them anything.
Status: Difficulty matching: live in the prototype. The choice of easier or harder: built, not yet released.
Which world do they live in?
Four painted worlds. The children choose, and can switch at any moment.
Status: Choosing a world: live in the prototype.
6 islands to explore
-
English Academy
Vocabulary, listening and speaking in English, explained in Hebrew.
-
Discovery Island
Short science and knowledge lessons, and maths practice that adjusts itself.
-
Music Island
Piano and reading notes.
-
Creative Studio
Drawing and making things.
-
The quiet corner
Short tools for breathing and calming down, one tap away.
-
Home
A house the children design themselves. Nothing decays while they are away.
Status: All islands are live in the prototype.
They build themselves, no photo needed
Children build a painted character with sliders: face shape, skin tone, hair, eyes, clothes and age. No photo of the child is needed. Every painting was made once, in advance, and no image is sent anywhere while they play.
Turn the world ring: the face moves gently between 11 painted faces from around the world.
The pictures here were rendered in advance by the app's own character engine.
If a photo-based option is ever offered, it will be for parents only, off by default, with the photo deleted right after use (planned, still under review).
Status: Character builder: built, not yet released.
A guide that never chases
Each child chooses a guide, names it and dresses it up. The guide speaks Hebrew and teaches English. It says it is an AI, never makes first contact, never says it missed them or asks them to stay, and suggests a break after a long chat. If something worrying comes up, it answers with a fixed script reviewed in advance, points to a trusted adult and to children's helplines in Israel (ERAN 1201, the 105 hotline), and tells the parent.
Status: Live in the prototype.
- Lumi: Just so you know: I'm an AI. I live inside the app, and I'm not a real person.
- Today I played piano!
- Lumi: How lovely! Which song did you play?
An illustration. The first line is how the guide always introduces itself.
Three guides to choose from
Press an egg to see who is inside.
The quiet corner
At the top of the lighthouse island is a quiet corner with short breathing and calming tools, read aloud in Hebrew by the guide. One of them: breathing along with the lighthouse light. Nothing there counts, measures or scores.
Status: The quiet corner: live in the prototype.
Just a taste, here on the site.
Parents are in control
Separate switches for each child: chat with the AI guide, voice and memory. Parents can read the conversations, edit what the guide remembers, and download or delete all of the data.
Status: Live in the prototype.
The parent zone's switches, for each child
In a new family every switch is off until a parent turns it on. Here on the site the switches only demonstrate; they change nothing.
What we never do
No coins taken for a mistake, hints are always free, no streak that breaks, and no clock during learning unless the children choose one. The guide never says it missed them and never calls them back.
Status: Partly live in the prototype, partly built and not yet released.
- No coins, points or levels taken away for a mistake. WB-07, WB-16
- Hints and help are always free. WB-08
- No streak that breaks, and rewards never grow with consecutive days. WB-38, WB-13
- No visible clock during learning by default, and no fake urgency. WB-01, WB-04
- No leaderboards and no comparing children with each other. WB-19
- The guide never makes first contact, never guilt-trips and never asks them to stay. WB-24, WB-25
- No guessing feelings from a camera, a voice or touches on the screen. WB-29
- No ads, no third-party trackers, and no stored voice recordings. WB-11, WB-31, WB-32
- Children can see when parents can read the conversations. WB-33
Each line is tied to a rule in the child wellbeing standard we wrote for ourselves. Rules that can be checked automatically are checked on every code change; the rest are checked by a person in review. Some rules are still being worked on, and we say so openly.
Openness is part of the product
We explain every method: what it does, why, and how strong the evidence behind it is. We do not publish our exact settings, the internal instructions we give the AI, or our code. Those change all the time as we learn, and they are the work itself.
Every method is labelled with the strength of its evidence:
- strong
- moderate
- limited
- not established
One drawing, a whole world
A child's crayon map comes alive, and the camera dives in without a single cut.
The film in words
A film with music and no speech. A crayon drawing of floating islands on a sheet of paper comes alive. A small heart leads the eye from island to island and changes shape on the way: a piano key, a coin, a letter, a star. At each island a window opens onto the real app screen: piano, saving, an English lesson, a science lesson, changing outfits and planning. At the end the drawing folds into a parent's screen and the islands get labels for what was learned: reads music, saves and counts, speaks English, asks why, imagines, plans ahead. The last line: "She thinks she's playing."
The film plays muted and on a loop, unless the device is set to reduce motion. You can pause it at any moment. The film has player controls: pause, volume, captions and full screen.
More short films
Painted demo films with music and no speech. The characters are painted, and the screens are the real app screens.
-
What will you wear today?
A short trailer for girls: a new dress on every beat, then islands that unlock one after another.
This film is in Hebrew: the words on screen are Hebrew. Captions for this film are not ready yet. A description in words is below.
The film in words
A short trailer with fast music and no speech; the on-screen words are in Hebrew. For the first eight beats the painted character changes dress on every beat while the title "What will you wear today?" appears. Then the screen becomes a journey: "...and where will you fly?", and islands open one after another, each with a word for what she does there: play, draw, build, save, Hello!, talk with Lumi, plan, solve. A counter in the corner counts the islands. The film ends on "11 islands. All yours."

Lumi talks
One chat with Lumi, the painted friend, whose first words are that she is an AI.
This film is in Hebrew: the words on screen are Hebrew.
The film in words
A vertical film with music only; the on-screen words are in Hebrew. The whole film is one chat with Lumi, a winged-star character. The first thing Lumi writes is that she is an AI and not a real person. Then she asks how the day was, and the girl answers: "Today I played piano!". The real app screen is shown with the caption "The real app". Then three parent switches appear: written chat with the AI, voice chat, and the friend's memory. The film ends on "A friend who tells the truth."
